Meet your cello teacher:

A woman with long curly hair smiling while playing the violin in an indoor setting.

My name is Natalie Mai Hall (Mai is pronounced May), and I am an experimental cellist known for my unconventional style and use of electronics to amplify my sound. After studying cello performance at the University of Washington with Toby Saks, I gained a love for improvisation from Cafe Racer's 'Racer Sessions.' I am a session player and provide onstage string support to acts of all sizes. I have worked with artists including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Disturbed, Eagles, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Michael Bublé, and local Seattle artists, including All-Star Opera, Noah Gundersen, Kris Orlowski, Zan Fiskum, and Seattle Rock Orchestra.

When I am not playing cello, I love to ski, canoe, see live music, and take trips to the San Juan Islands.
